• Graduated (DVM) with distinction from the Technical University of Lisbon, Portugual in 2005
• Completed a one-year rotating internship at the Frégis Veterinary Hospital in Paris, France
• Completed a residency in small animal internal medicine at Ghent University, becoming a diplomat of the European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine – Companion Animals (ECVIM-CA) specialty Internal Medicine in 2010.
• Completed a PhD on “Pathogenesis and treatment of canine thyroid tumors” at Ghent University
• Previous lecturer in Internal Medicine at the Veterinary School of Alfort (ENVA), France
• Currently a clinical instructor at Bern University, Switzerland
• Board member of the European Society of Veterinary Endocrinology
• Author and co-author of several publications in peer-reviewed international journals and he participated in various national and international conferences as delegate and speaker.
