• Graduated with distinction from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Lisbon, Portugal. 
• Completed a six month clinical externship at the Animal Medical Center, New York and Cornell University, USA. 
• Completed one year rotating internship at Davies Veterinary Specialists, UK followed by a three year ECVDI approved residency program in Diagnostic Imaging at the Royal Veterinary College, University of London, UK.
• Joined the Diagnostic Imaging service at Davies Veterinary Specialists in 2009.
